Brief About Kandla Timber Association

The Kandla Timber Association (KTA) was established in the year 1987 to promote the development and growth of the Timber Industry in the port town of Kandla and its adjacent areas.

Kandla Port enjoys the distinct advantage of being the biggest port. Timber imports have witnessed a huge and constant growth since1987 till date. The average growth rate of the timber import volumes has been over 20% on YOY bases.
